A: An accredited school is recognized for proper functioning and instructional quality by an independent accrediting agency. Accreditation is not a governmental function in the U.S. It has to be noted that accrediting agencies have to be also recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). Thus, only higher education institutions accredited by a recognized agency should be considered "accredited". |

A: The minimum amount of time to complete an online bachelor's degree program is about 2 years. The completion time frame depends on several factors like prior credits and how much time you choose to take off between courses. The minimum time completion for a master's degree is 1 year. |
